Production Process

From Drawing to Finished Profile

Our end-to-end extrusion process ensures quality at every stage

01

Die Design & Engineering

Die Design & Engineering

Our engineers review your profile drawing and provide DFM feedback. Custom extrusion dies are designed and manufactured in-house, typically ready in 7–14 days.

Includes DFM analysis, die flow simulation, and tolerance review before manufacturing.

02

Billet Heating & Extrusion

Billet Heating & Extrusion

Aluminum billets are heated to 450–500°C and forced through the precision die under high pressure to form continuous profiles.

Extrusion speed and temperature are precisely controlled for consistent mechanical properties.

03

Cutting & Straightening

Cutting & Straightening

Extruded profiles are cut to length and straightened using precision stretching equipment to meet dimensional tolerances.

Length tolerance: ±1 mm typical. Straightness: ≤0.5 mm/m for selected profiles.

04

Heat Treatment (T5/T6)

Heat Treatment (T5/T6)

T5 and T6 tempers are selected based on alloy and strength requirements.

Controlled aging furnaces with temperature uniformity ±5°C.

05

CNC Secondary Machining

CNC Secondary Machining

Post-extrusion CNC machining including cutting, drilling, tapping, milling, and bending to achieve final part geometry.

Machined features to ±0.1 mm, with critical dimensions up to ±0.01 mm.

06

Surface Finishing

Surface Finishing

Anodizing, powder coating, sandblasting, or electrophoresis applied to achieve required appearance and corrosion protection.

Full in-house finishing lines. Color matching and custom finishes available.

FAQ

Common Questions

Clear answers to help you better understand our services and capabilities.

What is the minimum order quantity for custom aluminum extrusion?

We support prototype orders from 1 piece (CNC machined from billet). For extruded profiles, minimum production runs are typically 50–200 kg depending on profile complexity. Contact us for specific MOQ based on your profile.

Standard extrusion dies are ready in 7–14 days. Complex multi-void or hollow profiles may require 15–20 days. We provide DFM analysis before die manufacturing to minimize revisions.

Yes. We have extensive experience with complex hollow sections, multi-void profiles, asymmetric cross-sections, and thin-wall profiles. Our engineers will review your design and advise on manufacturability.

Extrusion tolerances follow EN 755 and ASTM B221. Critical extrusion dimensions can be reviewed to ±0.1 mm, and CNC-machined features can reach ±0.01 mm.

Yes. We supply profiles cut to your specified lengths with ±1mm tolerance. We also offer fully fabricated profiles with holes, slots, bends, and other features machined to your drawing.

We offer anodizing (Type II and Type III hard anodizing in multiple colors), powder coating (full RAL range), sandblasting, electrophoresis, and polishing. All finishing is done in-house.
